When it comes to Taylor Swift’s onstage wardrobe for her The Eras Tour, she has embraced all things sparkly and bejwelled, ranging from an Elie Saab autumn/winter 2023 haute couture gown adorned with floral motifs, to a custom green embellished Roberto Cavalli two-piece set that was perfect for dancing in the rain during her stormy set in Massachusetts. However, the star tends to opt for more casual ensembles on her days off stage.
Spotted outside a recording studio in New York City this week, the hitmaker wore the ideal ensemble for a casual summer’s day in pieces most people will already have in their wardrobes. The look comprised a white R13 cropped buttoned-up shirt that she wore tucked into the waistband of her black denim R13 shorts and she then carried a Ralph Lauren calfskin Wellington shoulder bag. For optimum comfort, Taylor wore a pair of tan leather sandals with criss-cross straps over the foot, a loop around the toe and gold clasps by A.Emery as part of a collaboration with resortwear brand Matteau.
This isn’t the first time that Swift has been seen wearing a casual look in-between her stadium performances recently. The star was also photographed leaving the Electric Lady Studios with 1975 singer Matty Healy (amidst the swirling dating rumors) wearing a vintage purple and white NYU sweater, black Free People skort, and leather-trimmed trainers by The Row.
Although certain pieces from her outfits might be on the pricier side, the singer’s classic, unbranded off-duty style is one that can be emulated by any of her fans. Make like Taylor and enjoy the ongoing sunny weather in an oversized shirt, denim shorts, and simple leather sandals.
